The 32-year-old singer visited a Boys & Girls Club on Monday ahead of her Witness world tour.

In a statement posted by Just Jared, Katy announced she was teaming up with the charity, which helps often underprivileged kids reach their full potential and work towards achieving their life goals.

'I’m a firm believer that actions speak louder than Tweets,' she said in her statement.

'I think we’re all looking for a way to make real change beyond just donating our loose change.'
